    Does the 2005 Malibu have power steering problems?
    I took my 2005 Malibu to the dealership and I had the same problem however the "power steering' light came on and then my steering died. I could not steer at all. The dealer will not cover the charge and it will cost me over $800. There are enough complaints and GM knows about this. I think there should be a general recall. Mine does this randomly.
