I removed some paper as it was jammed out of the printer and managed to remove it all. Then a message came up "carriage Jam" clear - 4828585.

During printing, the printer stops feeding pages, and the error message Paper Jam. Clear paper jam, then press OK displays on the printer control panel.

Solved: Photosmart 6520, the carriage jam will not clear no matter what. I have followed all the steps, even unplugged for a few days.
