Spouses of disabled Veterans are eligible for health care benefits through the Civilian Health and Medical Program (CHAMPVA). This program also allows for reimbursement of certain costs, such as prescription medications, medical equipment, nursing care, and more, as long as the Veteran and their spouse remain married.
