I ended up settling on a set by Under Armour Infil Hike GORE-TEX boots. I broke the boots in before the trip, but really, they came fully wearable due to being largely synthetic. I cannot recommend them more highly. They are not as light as my Danner Tachyons, but they are super comfortable.
